XO Havana x Kenzo Takada: A Meeting of Fashion and Electronic Cigars

XO Havana x Kenzo Takada: A Meeting of Fashion and Electronic Cigars

In July 2015, on the terrace of a well-known Parisian palace, Kenzo Takada personally presented our special collaboration. The occasion brought together the internationally recognised fashion designer and XO Havana, linking the electronic cigar with the visual language and refinement of high fashion.

Following the wishes of the Japanese designer, who had made Paris his home, we revisited our first patented model: the XO Havana electronic cigar. It was produced in a special white edition with an exceptionally soft, skin-like silicone texture and a premium soft-touch finish. The project explored both the appearance of the device and the tactile experience of holding it.

Together, we developed four exclusive flavours in partnership with Parisian e-liquid manufacturer Liquideo. Each flavour was distinguished by a different colour variation of the well-known Kenzo floral motif: four colours for four flavour concepts, combining the project's visual identity with its aromatic range.

We were honoured to work with Kenzo Takada, whose influence on international fashion was profound. The collaboration reflected his interest in the relationship between design, contemporary objects and French art de vivre. The limited XO Havana x Kenzo Takada edition remains an important moment in the history of the brand, bringing together fashion, visual design and electronic-cigar technology.

The original project and its images remain part of the XO Havana story. The collaboration can be explored as a historical example of the meeting between electronic cigar design and fashion.
